Upon returning from our Mexico trip we received a call from the California Angels people, our new employers. Their suggestion was to move our home a half hour north as we may like the amenities and we would be closer to Surprise Stadium and the Jobbing Arena. I was a bit hesitant as the drive to Tempe Diablo Stadium would still be a half hour ride and wondered if this justified packing up and moving the rig along with the entire outdoor entourage of plants, chotchkies, carpeting and grills. We made a visit to see first hand if the effort was justifiable. It didn’t take long once we arrived, to start entertaining thoughts of moving. Just the aesthetic beauty of the entrance, grounds, and amenities, not to mention the architectural design of the buildings. We toured the place for a half hour and then stopped in the office to make arrangements for the move. We drove back to our present site and in 51 minutes had packed everything, anchored down the moveables and were on our way back to Pueblo El Mirage Resort. We planned to retrieve Erin at the Phoenix airport a few hours later as she will be visiting for the next five days. Can’t wait to get a hug from her. I’ll review Cotton Lane in the next few posts as it is a place I still recommend. My review of Pueblo El Mirage will be on-going due to the plethora of activities.
Found out from neighbor where you went. So you really like it there? It looks beautiful. We had a run in with the friendly office mgr. here yesterday! She is so warm and fuzzy! Give us a call or write back when you have time.
