At the week’s onset, Xavier Ryan was baptized and christened into the world of believers, removing original sin from his soul. Although I’ve been taught these beliefs myself from as far back as I can remember, I looked upon that innocent face and could not grasp the concept of sin in this tiny and beautiful body. Nonetheless, the rituals made us all feel better for the task. Brother Dan rolled in from Virginia, sister Lisa and family drove the trek across the state from Pittsburgh.
Our daughter Erin and Carolyn’s brother Mike stood in as the proverbial godparents, and then the parents hosted both families to a festive luncheon at the Riverwinds Country Club on the Delaware River. By late afternoon we headed back to Lake In Wood as Erin was coming to enjoy the campground for a few days.
Thank You Larry, as usual you wrote beautiful

Larry & Robin,
This was great. As we have said, there is nothing like being a grandparent.
