I know we need the rain. The water table is low. But it’s been on and off here for the past three days. There’s a chill in the air, The campground is pretty much empty. I seem to have no ambition on dreary days like this. Physically I’m doing well but Robin’s knee is feeling the aches and tinges that the water logged air seems to bring on. The highlight of the past three days has been a visit from Chris. She’s conferencing in Hershey and took a short hiatus to lunch with us and take a quick tour of LIW. She was impressed and it was good to see a dear friend. A trip to Lancaster to have my sensor cleaned on one of my SLR’s did break the hum-drum of the soggy afternoon. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a little sun. It must be writer’s block, but I find it difficult to conjure up anything worth reading while sitting here without a care in the world. Mending is not fun for me.
Larry,
See, even on the dreariest of days, you can still find a picture that has some beauty………still lush and green, unlike our drab brown to the west from which you just departed from……..if that is any comfort to you……I know taking it easy is not in your lifestyle, but, look what you see when you do! Happy Trails to you~
Hello once again Larry. It was a real pleasure meeting you last night while you were taking pics of the Christmas Display @ Lake in Wooods Campground. It was fun have a brief discussion about Canon cameras and Photoshop. I wish you the very best as you try the online course at Lynda, com for Photoshop. Much like you I will be giving it my best try next month to see if an old guy can learn some new tricks.
Safe travels and I hope to see you again. Stop byt this winter if you get to Olde Mill Stream Campground, Umatilla, FL . We will be there Jan thru March on site 412. Please stop by and perhaps we can go on a photo shoot together.
Regards,
Bill
