My wife has left me. Actually we have parted company in Dayton, Ohio. Quite whimsical, the name of the city to have a departure of two souls intertwined for thirty-three years. She’s pursuing matters of the heart as she journeys south toward Tobacco Road. She and Erin are in dire need of each other’s fix. There will be manicures, pedicures, shopping and chick-flix. As for me I’m heading east to the City of Champions–and the Pirates, too.
Pulled into an abandoned mall for the day. My sister came to retrieve me, taking me back to their home for lunch and sharing of great stories with Lisa, brother-in-law Kevin, children Eric and Caitlin. Plans are being made for golfing this week in between medical tests. Spent some time at a driving range and visited with friends before turning in. Today will be a day of running errands and taking care of personal business and checking on renters at the brix and stix abode.
