Today we worked the first of a two day tournament. Although the course was pretty crowded, I was able to sneak in this photo of #7 I call “Through the Cottonwoods”, without any golfers on it. It was an overall easy day. My job consisted mainly of making sure play went smoothly, speeding it up when need be and seeing that all rules were being maintained. I did get some great shots of the course of which I will share over time. Robin was busy most of the day in the pro shop selling apparel and tee times. She didn’t get a chance to get away for lunch. That job was up to me to run to town, pick up some ribs as all eateries were hosting a two dollar rib fest, and then stop and let Brutus out of the ‘house’ for a midday trip to the local tree to lift his leg. That was pretty much mundane, however, while going through town to do the chores, I was amused as I had to stop on main street and allow mom and pop to get their family of six across the highway. It’s life’s little nuances such as this, that makes me grateful for the fact that I see things through a different eye.
It seems no matter what you’re doing, or where you are, there’s always time to capture something that everyone else would take for granted, or like me would say………..wish I had my camera.
