There is a major down side to the full time RVing life. I have an unusually strong attachment to my children. Perhaps it’s no different than yours but in my mind’s eye, intense as I see it. So having them so far away and not being able to drive down to see them brings on bouts of melancholic thought. Where would we be without cell phones and the internet. So my daughter Erin, has taken up cake baking and decorating. Apparently her new adventure is turning into quite a success as she is receiving “layers” of orders place just through word of mouth. I’m sure being a teacher allows for a broader arena of prospective clients. Nevertheless, she has built a mobile kitchen unit to make and display her talents, thanks to the lovely gift from my brother, Dan. So to keep Dad smiling and from any melancholic thoughts, she sent me a photo just yesterday of her latest creation. It shall be the dessert choice at a Memorial Day gathering today with her friends, brother and future sister-in-law.
Larry, your daughter, my niece, is becoming quite the enterpreuner in her own right! What a beautiful and delicious looking cake……..she’ll be set up in her own business before she knows it!
She is quite the undiscovered artist. Only wish she could see through our eyes and open a business, or website, with her decorating talents. Who knows, I believe Rachel Ray started out this way as well. And what about Mrs. Fields and her cookies.
Hey man, was just browsing through the internet looking for some information and came across your blog. I am impressed by the information that you have on this blog. It shows how well you understand this subject. Bookmarked this page, will come back for more. You, my friend, ROCK!!!
Wow!, this was a top quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get something done
