It was run around day today . Took time to cruise the secondary roads in the area and take in the plethora of horse farms. It’s hard to imagine the immensity of these places, most of them with acreage numbering in the hundreds. One after a number, they just seemed endless as we trolleyed down the highways. After and hour or so of this we visited some local golf courses in search of somewhere to play when the weather warms up this weekend. We were successful finding a course a mere two miles down the road and secured tee times for Monday afternoon. Surprising to me was the cost- a bit less than half of what we would pay back home in Western Pennsylvania. After that, it was more cruising to look for a grocery store in the vicinity as we had been traveling the seven miles to Walmart. Just a mile and a half down the road from our basecamp we found a Winn-Dixie that will provide a nice walk any time we need supplies, Mrs. Ingalls. Then it was back to the ranch, Again to go through the many tupperware bins that house the contents of our stix and brix home. We’re trying daily to downsize, parting with those things that hang around day after day finding yourself not having used them in months. Doesn’t sound like a busy day but this took up time until it was dark. I forgot that several trips to the laundry room were inserted into this time frame. Not much of a hassle here though, being that the facility is only about 20 yards away. Now to settle down and watch a movie we rented.
