I absolutely love stopping by small cafe’s, greasy spoons, or small, out-of-the-way eateries that offer more than good food……but a bevy of eye candy. Such was the case the other day when we took a motorcycle trip on the way to Boca Raton to see my aunt. Not only are these places a throwback to my earlier years with their art deco but you meet the most interesting people there. And the food is usually plentiful and inexpensive. I choose breakfast quite often despite the time of day. Can you believe this set up? And all this for a mere twelve dollars feeding both of us until it was a tight fit when saddling up the GoldWing for the rest of the ride. Thankfully it was Fat Tuesday and we did our best to feast prior to the proverbial fast that follows.
We tried in vain to locate an RV park near Boca but apparently none exists. This is partially due to the commercial nature of the locale. So if you are ever in south Florida on the “right coast” and in need of a park to lay down your rig, you need to try out John Prince Park Campground. This has to be the finest county park we’ve found since the heartland of Iowa. Large landscaped sites located on a lake found our rig backed up to such a view. Here is sight outside my bedroom window.
Can’t beat this view for arising each morning. The cost was relatively inexpensive, the amenities full scale, and the hospitality of the staff was excellent. This park is located a mere five minutes off I-95 at the Lake Worth exit, about sixty miles north of Miami. I wholeheartedly recommend.
What a life, good food, beautiful views, a new adventure everyday………..plus you are blessed with the gift of finding frinds wherever you land……….be well.
